Hi, my name is Deanna Mears, and I am the Owner of Ew, Cleaning LLC. I started cleaning as a side hustle to help pay for daycare in the summer of 2021. I worked 40 hours a week at a local law firm and during my free time, I started cleaning STRs. As I started to grow, in January of 2022, I decided to create an LLC, get insured, and start hiring sub-contractors. I decided to reach out to Mom groups to see if there were other Moms out there that needed the extra income as I did. I started out with just a couple of Moms to help with cleaning during the week and weekends.

Word started getting out about Ew, Cleaning and we picked up more work. I took pride in myself in the quality and reliability we offered, which continued to help us grow.  In the summer of 2022, I decided that in order for the business to keep growing, I needed to jump in full-time with Ew, Cleaning. This was a little scary because I had been a Paralegal for over 18 years and all the security of a full-time job with benefits offered. I took that leap of faith and decided that I wanted the Freedom of owning a small business, and helping other Moms reach their goals, and it would give me more time with my toddler. So, I jumped in Full-time and feel like we have not slowed down since.

We have 20+ Moms who clean for us, 30+ residential homes (and growing by the day), and 50+ Short-Term Rentals we clean regularly. I am beyond blessed by the community of Moms I now have who not only clean but have become friends and support each other. I was pregnant at the beginning of the pandemic and so my mom group never existed even after having a baby. I feel like I have now created my own Mom group, but we clean!  We really enjoy what we do and love to help other families live happy life in a clean environment.
